Event Description
We are please to present the second season of the Adams Foundation Piano Recital Series. Our featured soloist, JEANNE STARK, is renowned as an interpreter of classical music's most challenging repertoire for the piano. Her artisty has earned her the praise of some of the great musical masters of our time, including composers Darius Milhaud, Olivier Messiaen and Lou Harrison. The evening's performance will include works by Scarlatti, Beethovn, Chopin, Messiaen, and Debussy.
Ms. Stark graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. An International Queen Elisabeth scholarship brought Ms. Stark to the United States for advanced study with Mieczyslaw Horszowski and Edwine Behre. Following a highly acclaimed debut at Carnegie Recital Hall in New York, Ms. Stark has delighted audiences in France, Canada, Mexico, Belgium and the United States.
