Event Description
Urbana 09 is the missions conference for North American students hosted by Intervarsity Christian Fellowship/USA and Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada. Generations have come to Urbana since the first one held in 1946. During the five days of Urbana participants will experience multicultural worship and drama, dynamic speakers, in-depth Bible study and prayer. They will be encouraged to explore short-term and vocational opportunities as they interact with representatives from more than 300 mission agencies and educational institutions, including Biola. Attendance at Urbana is usually around 20,000 students.
